These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and Jakob Pütz, operating Weavay, Germany ("Weavay", "we"), governing your use of the Weavay email client. See also the Privacy Policy in this inbox.

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using Weavay, you agree to these Terms. If you're using Weavay on behalf of an organization, you confirm you're authorized to bind that organization.

2. The service

Weavay is an email client that models your inbox as a graph of people, threads, and documents. Some capabilities, including AI features, depend on your plan and settings, and may change as the product evolves.

3. Accounts

You must give accurate information when signing up and keep your credentials secure. You're responsible for all activity under your account. Tell us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized access.

4. Connecting mail

Connecting a mailbox or domain authorizes Weavay to access, sync, store, and send mail on your behalf, strictly to provide the service to you. Only connect accounts and domains you're authorized to use; connecting mail you don't have rights to is a breach of these Terms.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Weavay to: send unlawful, infringing, or spam content; abuse sending limits or attempt to circumvent them; probe, scan, or attack Weavay's infrastructure; or scrape, harvest, or misuse other users' data. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section, with or without notice depending on severity.

6. Plans and billing

Free and paid plans (Pro, Max) have different limits, described on our Pricing page. Paid plans are billed in advance and renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel anytime in Settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Fees are non-refundable except where required by applicable law. We may change pricing with at least 30 days' notice to active subscribers.

7. Intellectual property

You retain ownership of the content you send, receive, and store through Weavay. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to host, process, and display that content solely to operate and improve the service for you. Weavay and its logos are our trademarks; nothing here grants you rights to them.

8. Data protection

Our processing of personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

The service is provided "as is" and "as available." To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We recommend keeping an independent backup of anything mission-critical.

10. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Weavay's total liability arising out of or related to these Terms is limited to the fees you paid in the three months preceding the claim, or €0 on the Free plan. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for intent, gross negligence, injury to life, body or health, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under German law.

11. Termination

You may stop using Weavay and delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these Terms, after notice where reasonably practicable. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability) will survive.

12. Changes to these Terms

We'll post material changes here and update the "Last updated" date above. If you keep using Weavay after a change takes effect, you accept the updated Terms.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Germany, excluding its conflict-of-law rules. If you're a consumer, mandatory consumer-protection provisions of your country of residence still apply.
